Dear Dan I am a friend of your father. He and I have prayed together for you and I am continuing to pray for your healing and for strength for you and your family. I am formerly a pastor and now work with youth and families in crisis at Family Hope Services. I have walked with others who have faced similar crises including in my own life and in my family. I was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 1986 and told I would have 10 good years left yet now I'm healed. We never know what God's will is but I have found great comfort hope and surprising grace through faith and prayer. May you experience God's presence love and encouragement through this very difficult ordeal. One of my favorite passages is 1 Peter 1:3-9. Sincerely Tim Geoffrion |
