"Dan Steve and I just heard about your health. I ran into Barb and she shared the bad news of the diagnosis AND ALSO the good news of your match. We did not know of the months you have been through. Know you are in our hearts and prayers for recovery. We still remember our fun golf outings and your "hole-in-one" at Braemar. Wishing your and Deb courage and strength. Sandi and Steve Taylor" |

Hi Dan We are so very happy to hear the great news about the 10 of 10 donor!!! I was on a cruise and Mom called Lothar and he left a message on my cell phone. Yeah!!! We will continue to pray for all of your family and that all goes well and we wish you the best of luck with everything you have to endure. We so admire your wonderful attitude! I know my Mom will keep us fully informed as things progress as she is so concerned about you all and keeps in close touch with your Dad. For now we send lots of love from Sunny (finally) California! Thanks Deb I swear I swam the net or whatever it is the geeks do & I couldn't find the site. Dan I know more about this then I ever thought I would and I am sorry my friend that it is because of you. Thanks for sharing your story. You & Deb were so very kind to me when my heart was breaking and I will always be grateful. You are in my prayers. Peace Kathryn Fitzgerald |

Dear Dan I am a friend of your father. He and I have prayed together for you and I am continuing to pray for your healing and for strength for you and your family. I am formerly a pastor and now work with youth and families in crisis at Family Hope Services. I have walked with others who have faced similar crises including in my own life and in my family. I was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 1986 and told I would have 10 good years left yet now I'm healed. We never know what God's will is but I have found great comfort hope and surprising grace through faith and prayer. May you experience God's presence love and encouragement through this very difficult ordeal. One of my favorite passages is 1 Peter 1:3-9. Sincerely Tim Geoffrion |
