12/20/2004  Dan - We are very sorry to hear about your medical struggles (Grandma Jeanne has been keeping us updated from the very beginning) but I know that you are receiving the best care possible! We are praying for you and we hope that you can find a match and get the process going! We know you can beat this! In the meantime our wish this holiday season is for you to enjoy the time with your family! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help and know that we are thinking about you! Love Jon and Amy Moe
5/4/2005  Dan - We continue to pray for your recovery. God knows your needs and will help get you through this. God Bless!!! John Prichard
2/3/2005  Dan - We have been keeping you in our prayers daily.!! Sounds like doors are opening for you with possible donors. Be strong and positive. God Bless Earl and Angie McCane
12/17/2004  Dan - You and your family are in my thoughts. I hope a donor is found quickly so you can put this behind you and start training for the 2005 Iowa ride! Be safe. Jenny Mateer
12/17/2004  Dan -o: I was stunned to get Dave Lenhardt's e-mail today (12/17/04) with the link to your website. I just finished reading through your chronology of events and I'm choking up as I type these lines. I will pull and pray for you as if you were family because in a way all of us Johnnies are family. I can tell from your strong positive attitude and the warmth and support of your real family (especially Deb) that you will find a donor and beat this disease. I know it sounds trite but if there is anything I can do - including backin' my azz up to the bone marrow drill - say it OK? TJ
3/6/2005  Dan and Deb Congratulations and good luck at Mayo! My prayers are still with you. Love Cousin Carol
1/30/2005  Dan and Deb Great news on the donor!! We'll keep praying for a perfect match. I was really glad to read that you had a chance to get out with Mike Tim and the family. You have a wonderful support group and we know you will beat this thing. Love John and Diane Perry
3/20/2005  Dan and Deb Greetings from sunny Mexico! Thanks for the shout out. I am so happy to hear that you are feeling better. Thank God! Love to all... Molly
4/3/2005  Dan and Deb I am sorry I missed your last visit with us for blood before you left for Mayo. But thank you for the chocolates--you know the way to our hearts!! My good friend's sister Vickie just checked into the U for her bone marrow transplant . She was diagnosed a few months after you but unfortunately her MDS has already turned into leukemia. I will be keeping track of both of you as you as you begin this huge journey. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. I have faith that God will be with you every step of the way. If I can do anything let me know. We had a scary 2 weeks with our son Ryan. He had cancer when he was a baby on both kidneys and just had a kidney biopsy. He has been hospitalized for the last 2 weeks with complications--finally recognized that two arteries were nicked with the biopsy requiring a surgery and 2 renal angiograms with embolizations to stop the bleeding. We are on the mend and getting caught up on sleep as either my husband or I had to be there day and night. We get biopsy results April 12. I can appreciate how your life is put on hold when going through all of this. Please take care. I am sending a hug to you and Deb. Your friend from IV's at FSH June K. (email Jbkuntze@juno.com)
